The UDI U818A Quadcopter is one of several beginner drones for those who are getting into drones for the first time. The UDI U818A quadcopter measures 13 x 13 x 2.2 inches (41 x 41 x 6 cm), and has a tough foam body, encasing the propellers great for beginners who are likely to crash much more. The U818A drone has approximately 7 – 9 minutes of flight time per charge, and can be flown either indoors or outdoors with a 100 foot range (30 meters). The U818A features an intelligent controller which displays throttle setting, controller battery life, trim settings and camera settings on a LCD screen. The drone also features a 6 axis gyro, LED lights, video recording with a 1280 x 720 pixel embedded camera as well as aerobatic flips at the touch of a button on the controller. With a flying time of only 7 – 9 minutes per charge, and a 120 minute battery charging time we recommend buying additional batteries if you plan to fly this drone a lot so you can avoid long waits for charging.
